In our increasingly technological society, scientific literacy is even more important for the success. Physics provides students the fascination of studying the deepest principles of the universe while preparing them for a wide range of careers. At present, the programmes of Department of Physics at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, offers basic courses for undergraduate study (B.Tech.) in engineering and offers M.Tech. Part-time in Materials Science and Technology. The Department in coming up as a major participant in an interdisciplinary Ph.D. programme in Science and Technology. The Department visualizes itself as an advocate of effective educational practices related to Physics and having aim to develop learners who are logical, analytical, creative and critical thinkers.
