All the students of Civil Engineering Department are members of the Civil Engineering society. The Society organized the following activities:

• General awareness discussion regarding civil engineering curriculum :November 2002.
• Organization of welcome and farewell functions in the department.
• Aptitude test and technical quiz:November 2002.
• Aptitude test and interview for second year students:March 2004.
• Hobby club activities under civil engineering society after 5:30 pm.
       i)  Discussion on programming languages
       ii) Discussion on principles of data communication and networking.
