Invitation to competitions of Techkriti, IIT Kanpur
Greetings from IIT Kanpur!
I am contacting you in my capacity as the Head of Events and Competitions in Techkriti, IIT Kanpur. Techkriti 2019 is the silver jubilee edition of the festival and so I request you to share the plethora of opportunities with all the students to the much awaited and exciting competitions in the fields of technology and business for their benefit, continuing the strive to learn and explore. Techkriti has competitions for all technology geeks and enterprising businessmen alike. Hence, I request you to forward this mail amongst your students so they can be a part of it as well.
As you may already know, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur is one of the premier science and engineering schools in the world and one of the most respected educational institute in India. Techkriti is the Annual International Technical and Entrepreneurial Festival of IIT Kanpur. Witnessing nearly 40,000 participants, the festival is a much awaited event in the technical and business calendar of the student and business community. Techkriti in its previous years has witnessed prominent personalities like Nobel Prize Winners such as Dr. Peter Grunberg and Dr. Douglas Osheroff and Lt Dr A P J Abdul Kalam(Former Honourable President of India), Dr Hamid Karzai (Former Honorable President of Afghanistan), Pradeep Sindhu (Founder, Juniper Networks) and so many more, sharing the profound knowledge and valuable experience in their li fe journey. This year Techkriti, the silver jubilee edition will be held on 7th to 10th March 2019.

We have the category Take Off, for aeromodelling enthusiasts who just want to let their imagination fly. If you have always liked electronics and internet of things, Techkriti offers ECDC with prizes worth 1.2lacs.
Prefer to stay at room all day and debug that one messy piece of code? Techkriti offers Software Corner, with programming competitions having prizes worth 2.6lacs.
If the whirring of engine runs the blood through your body, we have Techkriti Grand Prix, a racing car competition, with prizes worth 1.2lacs.
Always on the lookout for solutions to problems everyone is facing? Charm the audience by presenting your idea in Technovation, with prizes worth 6.2 lakhs.
If you have a great idea, but you are just not able to realize it, Techkriti offers you a platform to make that dream come true in Entrepreneurial Events, with prizes worth 3.1lacs.
