Brief Research Profile: : Research Focus: Development of secure and cost efficient fine-grained searchable encryption schemes in the public-key setting using state-of-the-art technologies like blockchain and fog computing.
Importance: Digitalization in the modern world leads to the generation of a large amount of data in almost every domain. This data is generally stored and managed at the remote cloud servers, which could not be trusted. To resolve this privacy concern, sensitive data is stored in an encrypted form, which severely debilitate fundamental search operation. Searchable encryption, can act as an intermediary technique that ensures privacy and accessibility.
Impact: The proposed schemes can support resource-constrained devices, which are largely used in most of the recent networks like IoT.
