Research Interests : Analytical, Experimental and Computational Fracture Mechanics and Stress-life, Stress-life and Multiaxial Fatigue life prediction of weldments, Stress Corrosion Cracking
Brief Research Profile: : I have conducted several experiments on Computerized UTM (make Instron, MTS and Zwick Roell) and carried out experiments of Fracture and Fatigue life prediction on CTS and CT specimens made up of isotropic and anisotropic materials.
Conducted experiments on digital photoelastic bench on CTS specimen of Araldite-Hardener for mixed mode fracture Finite Element Analysis of Fracture Mechanics Problems related to mixed mode fracture using Ansys
Currently working on Experimental Investigation of Stress Corrosion Cracking, and fatigue analysis of joining of similar and dissimilar aluminum alloys using friction stir welding.
