Dr Kuldeep Singh Nagla and Dr Ravinder Singh PhD Research Scholar (PhD Completed in 2020) of ICE Department are awarded with prestigious “Emerald Literati Awards for Excellence 2020” by Emerald Publishing Limited UK for an outstanding research paper 'Multi-data sensor fusion framework to detect transparent object for the efficient mobile robot mapping', authors Ravinder Singh and Kuldeep Singh Nagla published in International Journal of Intelligent Unmanned Systems (Impact Factor 1.7).
The editorial team said that it is one of the most exceptional pieces of work they saw throughout 2019. Certificate award has been given to both the authors separately.

Dr Kuldeep Singh Nagla grant of another Patent (patent no 320045) granted jointly in the name of Dr BR Ambedkar NIT Jalandhar, DAV Jalandhar and NIT Kurukshetra (Inventors: Dr. Amit Kohli, Dr. KS Nagla and Dr Hari Singh). Useful invention is an “Intelligent induction hardening machine”. Patent was jointly filed in year 2012.
