Applications are invited in the prescribed format from existing Professors of the Institute, for the up-gradation of AGP of Professor to Higher Administrative Grade (HAG) Scale: Rs. 67000-79000/- (pre revised) and revised to level 15 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.

• The essential qualification, requirements, Credit Points and other terms & conditions of selection are prescribed in Schedule ‘E’ of NITs Statutes amended 2017 and guidelines approved by the NIT Council in its 11th meeting held on 18.07.2018 and clarifications as per recommendations of Oversight Committee issued by MHRD on dated 16.04.2019.
• The eligibility and experience etc. for the above post shall be determined as on 30.10.2019.

Note:

1. For existing faculty members who completed their Ph.D. along-with their normal teaching load of Institute or quality improvement programme, the enrolment period of Ph.D. shall be counted as teaching experience.
2. Supporting documents for contribution to Institute administration should be recommended by concerned Head or Chairman and approved by the Director, and contribution to departmental administration shall be recommended by concerned Head and approved by the Director.
3. The credit point system as per Schedule E and clarifications as per recommendations of Oversight Committee issued by MHRD on dated 16.04.2019 shall be applicable.
4. No document issued after the closing date of advertisement shall be considered for credit points at a later stage.

Candidates need to apply online and also submit hard copy of the application. The hard copy of the submitted application along with all relevant supporting documents must reach the office of the Registrar, Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, PO-REC Campus, Jalandhar-144011 by 15.11.2019 (till 5.00 pm through proper channel). Candidature will be considered only on receipt of both online as well as hard copy of application by the due dates, failing which it will not be considered.
