SEHCM-2020 Objective

COVID-19 pandemic has huge impcat on the economic and health system across the globe, and alarmed the countries for changing the strategics rules of business as well. Alongside the direct and indirect health impact the prompt lock down across the world has stopped the economic activities, therefore has raised several issues challenges. With implications changing daily, business leaders need to be proactive. They need to know how corona virus could impact their business or industry and what strategic steps they should put forward for the mitigation of those challenges evolved due to this global health crisis.

CCE

Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) is established in the Institute to cater the need of the society. The centre provides a multidisciplinary platform for policy discourse. This will bring researchers, practitioners, and interested members of our community together in order to contribute meaningfully to policy debates on development, resettlement and other such burning issues. The CCE aims to foster new relationships and interactions among public officials, civil society and the private sector in the search for creative solutions to public policy problems take management decision for development of society.

Host Institute

Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar (NIT Jalandhar) is a leading premier autonomous Institution (under Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, New Delhi) of northern India. The Institute was established in the year 1987 as a Regional Engineering College, which was given the status of National Institute of Technology in the year 2002 by the Government of India. The Institute offers Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) programmes in eleven disciplines of Engineering and Technology, Master of Science in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics, Master of Technology (M Tech) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph D) in all Disciplines of Science & Engineering. The Institute is located in an eco-friendly environment amidst a rambling campus spread over 154 acres. The Institute has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with many prestigious institutes/universities of UK, USA, Canada, Italy, France and South Africa etc. for the mutual academic exchange program and further strengthening of the academics and research. Host City

The host institute Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar is situated in the city of Jalandhar in the state of Punjab of Republic of India. The institute is located on G.T. Road, Amritsar bypass, 12 km from Jalandhar Bus Stand, 11 Km from Jalandhar City Railway Station and 16 Km from Jalandhar Cantonment Railway station. It is around 70 Km away from Raja Sansi International Airport, Amritsar, 150 Km from Chandigarh Airport and 390 Km from Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi. It is connected to New Delhi by rail through Shatabdi Express and other superfast trains as well as through AC buses round the clock. The city is surrounded by famous rivers Sutlej and Beas and is internationally famous for agricultural products, textiles, leather goods, wood products, and sports goods. The nearby site seeing includes Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Wagah Border, Science City etc.
