ABOUT NITJ

Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology was established in the year 1987 as Regional Engineering College and was given the status of National Institute of Technology (Deemed University) by the Government of India on October 17, 2002 under the aegis of Ministry of Education, New Delhi. Now the Ministry of Education, Government of India has declared the Institute as “Institute of National Importance” under the act of Parliament-2007.


INTRODUCTION

Education is the backbone of every country. A country will not be able to survive in the competitive world, if its education system is not capable of contributing for its development. Indian education system is widely criticized in multi-dimensions for its failure to inculcate competence, creativity and innovation in the students. It is the need of the hour for the educators of the country to thoughtfully experiment and apply new or different pedagogical approaches, technologies, curricular enhancement, course design and organization and assessments, which help the students to develop their creativity and their problem solving skills

This Conference will dwell upon issues and challenges in the current Indian education system in light of implementation of New Education Policy. Eminent experts from diverse domains will be invited to discuss and present their work / experience on this issue of national importance.

The papers shall be presented by the participants in following tracks during the conference

Track II: Professional Educational (Technical and Medical)

Track III: Higher Education (Universities and Graduate Colleges)

  • Presenter: Rs. 500 for Academicians, Rs. 200 for Research Scholars.
  • Attendee: Rs. 200 for Academicians, Rs. 100 for Research Scholars.

PRESENTATION

  • Participants are required to present their work/views using a PowerPoint presentation.
  • All the participants will get an opportunity to speak for 8-10 minutes to share their views and the best practices and innovations in education system.

 

ACCOMODATION

All the participants are encouraged to stay with us. Stay arrangement will be made in the institute hostel on nominal payment basis, however the participants are free to make their own stay arrangements, if they wish.
